Joe Schilling Has A Very Busy Year Ahead According To His Manager

This year is going to be a busy one for Joe Schilling. Schilling wants to participate in both the Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts matches this year. Joe Schilling fights in the middleweight category and has a contract with Bellator, and very recently he has entered into a contract with Glory Kickboxing. Schilling is all set to fight Robert Thomas on 6th February at Glory 19 which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles. Various well known mixed martial arts websites published the news of Joe Shilling signing with Glory.

Joe Shilling had a very successful kickboxing career. In his kickboxing career he won 17 matches and lost only seven. He won eleven matches by knocking his opponent out. The last kickboxing match Schilling fought was against Artem Levin in 2014 at Glory 17. Schilling lost the match.

Schilling fought in a mixed martial art competition in 2008 and he lost in 3 matches and was able to win only one and after that Schilling was unwilling to take part in any mixed martial arts competition. He did not fight MMA matches for six years after that but he participated in Bellator 131 which took place in November last year and knocked out Melvin Manhoef in the second round. MMA Junkie called the knockout, “knockout of the month”. After that he expressed his intention to continue fighting in MMA. Schilling never wanted to leave kickboxing; he was just waiting for the right time. Schilling will fight Thomas in Glory 19 but his contract with Bellator is not over yet so it cannot be said that his MMA career is over. It is not announced yet who Shilling will fight in Bellator. Mike Kogan, the manager of Joe Shilling has said that Schilling is already included in Bellator’s fight schedule for the year but he wants Bellator to make the announcement.
